Major inconsistencies in the weather can be a little stressful on your girls. One day it's smoking hot and the next its cool again.
If you have laying hens you might have noticed a decrease in eggs.
Fear not, production will pick back up.
Just putting your girls out? They might be a little chilled at night - so make sure they have a warm place to cuddle to keep warm.
Chicks inside? Water, warmth and plenty of snacks and they will be just fine.
If you are not already providing your pals with vitamins, now is a good time to do so.

Please be sure that your flock is well hydrated. Make plenty of fresh water available to them.
It's very important to take your chicks home as quickly as possible and to get them settled in their new environment. Minimal handling for the first week is recommended to ensure they continue to thrive.
